Hang gliding at Hyner View is a thrilling experience, with pilots taking off from the designated ramp just below the lookout wall. The launch faces south and is best suited for winds from the southeast to southwest at speeds less than 15 km/h. Due to the precise nature of the takeoff and landing, this site is recommended for experienced pilots. The landing zone is a small field near the park entrance, which can be turbulent and is bordered by trees and power lines.
